He is a doctor in sociology and laureate of the University of Fez, today he is  Professor of sociology at the Faculty of letters and Humans Sciences in Rabat after long career split between the Ministry of Housing, Urban Planning and   policy of the city 5 years and the Corporation Holding Alomrane-Meknes 13 years. He published the book titled "The local power between the tribe and the party: Sociological study of rural elites" in 2013 and several other articles in national and international journals.

He is actually the Head of the department of sociology and he is running a Master of Urban planning, Social and Spatial Transformations and Social Movements. Also,  He is a member of ERSA Research team at the university of Mohammed V. He is currently working on urban policies and socio-spatial inequalities and social movements.
